Induction training
The induction phase of training is designed to make newly appointed para teachers familiar with the practices and activities of the institution where they are to be appointed. It usually identified with the period of problem. It is the preparation required to equip a new member of the staff for the duties and responsibilities of his/her specific initial assignment with a systematic manner, it can serve several purposes. This is the only activity provide a new para teacher with the required knowledge, understanding and skill necessary to begin and help hi develop right values towards the school and his new job. Proper induction benefits a school as it paves the way for proper and full utilization of the teacher’s abilities. The induction phase usually attempts.

Training to untrained Para teachers (DPE)
Objective:- Diploma in primary education (DPE) is an educational programme organized by convergence with IGNOU. This is a distance learning training programme to provide educational training to newly appointed untrained para teachers. To equip them with clear understanding of learning process and methods of guiding children to learn, the ability to device new methods of organizing classwork with clarity, precision and logic.
Target :
2200 para teachers will be enrolled in DPE Course in two session 1200 in July 2009 and 1000 in January 2010. Block wise breakup will be calculated using the formula
